I'm not completely sure why I like this photo but I wanted to post it. I think my fondness for it stems from the complete randomness of the chair on a sidewalk or perhaps it's the wine bottle laying in the distance.

Professor Funk I was not going to post this originally, due to the way I had to shoot it. If you look close enough, you can see reflections everywhere. I had to shoot through a pane of glass, which wasn't desirable, but I was afraid I would miss the moment. Anyway, I thought how strange it was for someone with such taste in clothing to be buying something as ordinary as meat.

This was taken at Licoln Memorial Gardens in Springfield, IL back in August of this year. I finished post processing it along time ago but never got around to posting it. Thanks Leslie for the photo-op.

I entered this earlier in a local contest earlier in the year. The rules stated that the picture had to be taken within Washington Park (pretty simple rules). Since this Carrillon was located in the park, I decided to use it as a backdrop. I'm not completely happy with the picture...there is something wrong with the composition, which could be a partial reason for why I lost the contest.

This is the St. Louis Arch in St. Louis, MO. It was so bright that day that I was unsure if any of these next few shots would come out correctly considering this sculpture is one giant sun reflecting piece of steel.

This is yet another "sun shining directly into the lens, burning an imprint into the retina" type of shot. This one is more aptly named than the previous picture, however. Converge, while it's meaning refers to "meeting" or "joining", is also related to the word "focus". Oddly enough, focus can also refer to "funnel", which is what this peak reminded me of when I shot it, only inverted. It's all relative I guess.
